Job Description:

The HR Specialist is responsible for performing HRIS (Workday) support and works closely with the HR staff and Management in supporting all TreeHouse Divisions.  In this role you will be the first point of contact for Workday support, ensure that all reporting data is consistent with HR policies and objectives, and generate and analyze reports as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive HRIS experience, possess excellent communication skills, and have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple priorities. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Workday transactions and validate accuracy of information.
  • Collect, analyze, and provide reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information
  • Supports onboarding activities for new hires and ensures that follow-up activities are conducted.  Includes processing new hire paperwork and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Responsible for setting up users with HR vendors
  • Collaborates with Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition
  • Assist with day-to-day HR Operations
  • Participates in or leads special HR projects and other duties as assigned

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills, Experience and Education:

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (List all required):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • At least two years of HRIS experience supporting human resources. Workday Systems knowledge and expertise a plus
  • Must be proactive and work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and to deal with all levels of employees
  • Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to prioritize workload ensuring time sensitive tasks are accomplished to schedule

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Required
