Purpose of Position:    Participates in creating and implementing training programs following the TreeHouse lean manufacturing process in order to strengthen and build a solid production foundation.  Leads efforts to establish a culture where learning is part of the daily facility activity by engaging with teammates to understand gaps in training. By becoming the subject matter expert in various areas, they will present and train to groups across the facility to ensure proper knowledge transfer and guidance. Leadership will look to this role to manage training KPIs, scorecards and adhoc reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Works closely with subject matter experts to learn the operation of equipment and critical concepts or methods
• Establish base operating skills to effectively support the sustainability of the production team
• Prepare and present reports on training program effectiveness (training KPI reporting)
• Develop individual, shift, and monthly scorecards; as well as validation checklists for each job/role
• Develop standardized training for plant resources such as trainers, validators, mentors and auditors
• Create and maintain framework for document control of Standard Work Instructions program
• Review training materials from a variety of vendors and choose appropriate materials
• Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are current and effective
• Availability to work off shifts as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 or more years of manufacturing experience; preferably in the food industry
• Strong leadership skills and Team Player
• Knowledge and adherence of HACCP and GMPs
• Positive and approachable attitude
• Exhibits Safe Behaviors
• Intermediate to advanced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrated attention to detail
