Principle Duties and Responsibilities


Essential

Checks schedule for product being produced to run production accordingly.

Understands and has knowledge of the process flow of the line.

Communicates effectively with other departments.

Understands and has the ability to operate the control panel to include the diverter, dump, conveyor belts, bells, scrap belt, tote, etc.

Ability to perform adjustments on alignment wheels, breaker wheels, merger belts, orange belts and speed controls, etc.

Ability to properly fill out required paperwork in a timely manner at the end of the shift.

Understands the unloading process to include blowing out, sweeping up, dump location and proper totes for disposal.

Understands and complies with all clean up procedures between the different products.

Must be able to perform any changeover and troubleshoot the line without additional help.

Prepares the work area for the following shift.

Maintains a clean work environment.

Notifies Maintenance, Group Manager and/or your Team Leader of any repairs or adjustments that are required.

Understands, observes, and complies with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.

Performs all duties necessary to meet Government and Regulatory, SQF Institute, Co-Manufacturers and Company requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.

Informs Line Manager, Group Manager or any other Management personnel of ANY food safety or quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.

Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to food safety and the quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.

Identifies and records any problems relating to food safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.

Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety and quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required as Essential

Possesses a thorough understanding of all Company policies, including GMP’s and safety policies.

Effectively communicates with others.

Able to lift 50 lbs. in weight above shoulder level.

Possesses the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Possesses the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
