Job Description:


• Verify and validate daily receipts for Raw Material and Packaging

• Cycle count Receiving and Finished Goods warehouses

• Count Production WIP locations

• Input and maintain records in QAD & Excel as well as paper records

• Work with the Controller, or designees, and Production Reconciliation Specialist to identify and correct discrepancies

• Must have a good working knowledge of product labeling 

• Operates the forklift; motorized pallet jack

• Operates the computer programs and scanner system

• Performs other assigned duties as required


• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and all other food safety requirements

• Reports any potentially unsafe practices/conditions to the Lead or Supervisor

• Uses inspection checklist to ensure forklift is safe to run – reports any damage – changes batteries

• Be able to safely lift items from 10-30 pounds – boxes, pallets - ask for help when lifting heavier items

• Recommends changes to improve safety standards

• Must be certified to use the motorized Pallet Jack, Fork Lift, Yard truck, Wrap Machine – ensure safe operation of all machinery, tools and equipment

• Maintains proper housekeeping and safety standards


• Will be assigned to work in extremely cold (freezers) or hot (docks in summer) conditions

• Most positions are located in areas with loud noise and will require the employee to wear protective ear plugs

• Other conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes from cleaning chemicals (ammonia)

• Main activities will be constant sitting, occasional lifting, walking, standing, pulling, and pushing


These positions have no supervisory responsibilities. Performs as a member of a small team and help other team members as required.
