Job Description:

The Analyst, Application Security under broad supervision, executes the standardized procedures and processes for user and role management on key systems and applications. Ensures the adherence of business policies and procedures to grant appropriate access levels. Develops procedures to properly and efficiently manage user access. Contributes to the internal and external audit reviews and the role re-certification processes. Troubleshoots and solves problems including those escalated by less experienced team members. May assist coaching/training of less experienced team members.


Position Responsibilities:


 Functional Analysis: Understand functional requirements. Collaborate in the root cause analysis of
incidents through various analytical techniques. Collaborate on Return on Investment opportunities
 Functional Design: Design functional solutions that enable process change, continuous improvement and
competitive advantage. Document design through using functional specifications. Collaborate with IT
partners to ensure that functional designs are appropriately translated into technical designs.
 Technical Analysis: Using a variety of analytical techniques, determine and document technical
requirements through researching and analyzing problems, planning and modeling possible solutions and
recommending software. Identify and address root causes of system problems.
 Technical Design: Assist with design and document technical solutions for systems with multiple
integration points, multiple functions and/or unique logic requirements that are effective and efficient.
 Construct / Implement: Deliver solutions that are contemporary and in accordance with company
guidelines. Design and execute functional unit, scenario and system integration test plans. Assigned to
multiple Projects/Initiatives at a time. May assist with project planning.
 Incident / Problem Management: Conduct effective investigation, diagnosis and root cause analysis of
incidents / problems. Develop, implement and document solutions in a timely manner and validate with
system users that service has been restored.
 Change Control: Conduct proper urgency, impact and risk assessment of change requests. Plan, schedule,
implement and document changes in accordance with Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.

duties may be assigned from time to time as necessitated by business needs.


Qualifications and Requirements:


 Requires 3 – 5 years Information Technology / position related experience.
 Knowledge and experience of key tools within respective area (see Addendum 1).
 Knowledge and experience of core competencies within respective area (see Addendum 2), preferably
within Consumer Products or Manufacturing industries.
 Exchanges standard/basic technical or nontechnical information with colleagues and immediate superiors
and/or customers.
 Required to interpret or clarify basic technical information to aid understanding.
 In some instances, will need to convey information to audiences not knowledgeable of the subject matter.
 Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.



Education:


Bachelor’s Degree Required – Type: Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

 Understands and applies the principles and practices in a specialized field requiring extensive academic
preparation.
 Understands and applies knowledge of standardized rules, procedures, and operations within own area.
 Uses previous experience to identify most appropriate solutions or improve defined procedures.
 Requires basic problem-solving techniques to identify and define problems.
 Assists in providing detailed analysis and applying results to improve business operations.
