TreeHouse Foods has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor role at its Dixon, IL facility. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and management of maintenance programs and related activities to ensure site-based machinery and equipment is operating with the highest degree of reliability and cost efficiency, while ensuring people and food safety. In addition, the Maintenance Supervisor will direct, lead and develop maintenance technicians at all levels.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance activities tied to production and the facility, including but not limited to insuring the facility’s safety and environmental work is current and compliant.
• Monitor line operations, production line speeds, quality, and attending daily meetings.
• Maintain SOP’s to keep the facility ready for customer inspections and well as governmental inspections (AIB, EPA, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Review SAP reports to ensure they are accurate and mechanics time is accounted for. Work with SAP planner to assign work orders.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to maintenance team
• Monitor personnel matters, including work schedules, vacations, and discipline.
• Maintains working relationship with the union by following all the terms in the collective bargaining agreement.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager on equipment analysis to determine facility improvement needs.
• All other duties as may be assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Above average communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively convey and follow instructions
• Ability to effectively multi-task, manage time, set schedules, prioritize assignments and maintain accountability.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
• Experience working with outside contractors a plus
• Organized and able to create/maintain project tracking mechanisms
• Strong leader, works with sense of urgency

Education:

Associates Degree preferred.

Minimum Experience Preferred:

Three years of relevant manufacturing experience
