Job Description:

  • Coordinates with outsourced medical providers to ensure internal policies and protocols are being followed.
  • Develop reports for sites and Corporate EHS & Risk Management on occupational health metrics, trends, compliance, wellness initiatives from the EMR system
  • Facilitate the THS post offer/hire medical evaluation program
  • Act as liaison between THS locations and the outsourced occupational medical provider, HR, Security, and Legal to assist in the implementation/development of medical policies, programs, compliance and initiatives
  • Provide support to occupational and environmental health incident as requested and expertise in product and/or health related incidents and exposures.
  • Ensures auditing of internal and external medical service providers including vendors
  • Act as a “scanner” to identify emerging health issues or trends, which may be important to operations or products.  Serve as the THS representative interacting with key health officials and professionals as well as community and civic leaders regarding health subjects.  Participate in issue management teams as appropriate.
  • Partner with Human Resources to coordinate systems to monitor employee health status and health risk factors to favorably impact employee productivity and health plan utilization costs and coordinate initiatives targeted to improve systems of health care.
  • Participate in the THS EHS & Risk Management network (communities, conferences, audits) representing the site to develop and implement THS EHS & RM programs and practices consistency throughout the organization.
