Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Execute MRP to issue POs with suppliers to ensure material availability as per production demands.
  • Match supplier acknowledgements for POs with original order and file for audit purposes.
  • Responsible for replenishment of raw ingredients, primary and secondary packaging and supplies to meet production demands by placing transfers from 3PL’s on a daily basis.
  • Research and schedule freights/transportation of vendor supplies in a timely manner taking into consideration production schedules and customer expectations.
  • Requesting C of A and expiry dates from suppliers if not sent with original shipment
  • Following up with suppliers on open orders and past due POs
  • Confirming if we are ok for materials in case production run is moved up.
  • Determine and maintain proper fill rate for each individual item, balancing requirements with inventory levels.
  • Create, implement, and manage purchasing process for staff office supplies and business cards etc.
  • Work closely with the production planning department, with production, and with inventory control; communicate consistently and in a timely manner in case of any delays or other material replenishment concerns
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, analytical, organized.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with flexibility to meet challenging priorities while adhering to departmental deadlines
  • Able to work under pressure and cope with high volume workload
  • Computer Proficiency
