Job Description:

Manages Quality Systems processes, collecting and analyzing data to assist in divisional goal achievement. Provide support to the Plant for the Quality Systems technical aspect.  Creates, formats, edits, organizes and monitors all plant system documentation inclusive of: operations, quality, food safety, maintenance, warehouse, supply chain, sanitation. To assure that all required policies, procedures, work instructions are accessible, and comply with the standards set forth by TreeHouse Foods, as well as customers, GFSI, Federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and own Site Quality Manual inclusive of ensuring all documents are revised, stored and trained on as required
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and multitask based on company needs and deadlines
  • Regularly performs data entry, formatting as required by Quality management.
  • Manage and maintain site Management Systems training matrix to ensure all employees are up-to-date with all Management systems document require training and validation.
  • Manages document storage and records retention programs, and is intimately familiar with record retention guidelines, with the ability to monitor on a regular basis to ensure proper disposition of physical and digital records. Communicate with all site and corporate management concerning management systems related issues
  • Actively participates in all audits and own major sections of audits
  • Ability to be proactive about taxonomy of documentation, with a focus on ease of recall, adherence to document chain of custody, orderly preservation, and scheduled destruction.
  • Maintain, develop, train and follows through with the PRP and GMP Internal Audit procedures.
  • Follow all SQF Level 3 requirements.
  • Lead Auditor- conduct 3rd party audits- for offsite vendors
  • Plan and organize comprehensive document review structure proactively
  • Create, follow through with, and take responsibility for multiple action plans with limited support.
  • Develops, sets structure and retains records for continuous skills programs for plant; will work with management groups and train and update plans on consistent basis to stay in line with SQF Level 3.
  • Participate as Food Safety team member and back-up Leader.
  • Identify and report documentation missing from the current register which is or may be required by policy at various level
  • Gap new Corporate and regulatory requirements against existing
  • Periodically monitor FDA Website for industry related changes
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Outlook with strong emphasis on Excel and Word. Previous programming experience with Visio, Illustrator and Adobe PDF
  • Requires strong English language skills, emphasizing excellent written communication to create documents that are precise and conform to federal, state, and local laws as well as corporate requirements
  • Requires basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and count
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management

The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, and crouch; and sit for extended periods. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The employee is regularly called on to perform repetitive fine manual tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision, including frequent regular viewing of a computer screen.
