Job Description:

  • Service Engineer Level Experience of Tetra Pak, SIG Combibloc, or Meuer Branded Machinery.
  • We are a multi-skill based maintenance department, looking for candidates with a minimum of one, or a combination of 3 of the following skills listed below.
  • Tetra Pak brand Machinery-Specific training and experience on the A3 Flex filler, A3 Speed Filler, Helix Accumulator, Cappers (Cap 30), and Cardboard packers (CBP 70).   SIG Combibloc brand machinery -Specific training and experience on 312 Filler, ACB Capper Meurer Cardboard packers, and conveying equipment- Specific certificate based training, or 3 years’ experience rebuilding, and maintaining these machines.
  • Looking for strong analytical troubleshooting skills, experience can include PLC, VFD, servo driven machinery, process control, Tetra Pak & Meurer cardboard packer, Alvey palletizer, Nordson glue machine, Video Jet printer experience desired.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance of Aseptic, bottling, canning and Re-cart packaging lines.
  • Maintain the operation of production equipment by working with operators and other staff to identify and correct, and eliminate downtime.
  • Assist other departments where needed or as directed by management.
  • Assist with PM creation, scheduling, training, and project coordination.
  • Follow all company policies, plus Safety/Quality related SOPs and GMPs.
  • Fixed, 12-hour schedule, every other weekend required, a 2-2-3 schedule.
  • Pay, $32 to $40 an hour depending on experience level, and skills.
  • Relocation is available

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repair of ALL production equipment, and assist wherever needed regardless of dept. boundaries (production, building or Plant Utilities) Ensure the daily logs, PM(s), and WO(s) are being filled out properly before being submitted Document any issues that require follow up repairs/replacement and submit to generate work orders or add to PM(s) in SAP.

Desired Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Aseptic, Canning, bottling, and Recart Packaging machinery
  • Ability to work from manuals and prints
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate production demands, shift coverage, PM(s), and project completions.
  • Mechanics are required to work with little or no supervision as well as work as a group on large projects.
  • Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
  • Mechanics will be required to attend all safety training course provided by the company
  • Mechanics will be required to attend training as provided by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Provide a list of Tetra Pak, and Combibloc certifications.
  • Certificate training or a two-year technical degree.
  • SAP training, and usage experience is a plus.
