Roles & Responsibilities:

Inbound

• Oversee the planning, help coordinate and monitor all inbound shipments that ensure timelines, proper processing, accurate documentation and safe movements of freight (as needed) including maintaining daily inbound scheduling.
• Plan, assign and monitor inbound freight requests from purchasing including raw ingredients, packaging and other materials from 3PL and vendors.
• Advise purchasing, planning warehouse leadership promptly of any impending service failures and plans to correct issues.
• Review and submit for Supervisor’s/Manager’s approval all warehouse vendor invoices. Investigate and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure all inbound documentation are provided during driver check-in process (packing slip, BOL, COA). Must follow-up with purchasing Rep, and/or vendor when documentation is not provided.

Outbound

• Oversee the planning, help coordinate and monitor all outbound shipments that ensure timelines, proper processing, accurate documentation and safe movements of freight with Blu Jay 3PL Rep based on outstanding DC loads available plus 24-hour future production run schedule and daily projection forecast provided

Customer Service

• Properly greet and check-in inbound/outbound vendor drivers which result in a win/win positive result that create great business relationship
• Recommend measures to help improve safety, quality, productivity, reduce cost, and maintain equipment.
• Provide internal/external customer service that result positive results
